The official Japanese Sonic X Shadow Generations website has been updated with details about the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Movie Pack (known as Sonic × Shadow: Tokyo Mission in Japan), set for release on December 12!
According to the post, the DLC will include multiple Acts and Challenge Acts, though the exact number remains unconfirmed. However, it’s noted that the Movie Shadow skin and voice lines will be exclusive to the DLC stages, with only the English voice by Keanu Reeves available, which might disappoint Japanese players. Additionally, the new stages won’t be compatible with the game’s online rankings.
Important Notes About the Movie Pack for Sonic × Shadow: Tokyo Mission
In the DLC “Movie ‘Sonic × Shadow: Tokyo Mission’ Pack” (hereafter referred to as the Movie DLC), an alternate version of Shadow (hereafter referred to as Movie Shadow) will appear.
Please take note of the following points:
- Voice Language
The voice for Movie Shadow is only available in English.
※ Even if your audio language setting is set to something other than “English,” the voice will still play in English.- Appearance Restrictions
Movie Shadow will only appear in the Acts and Challenge Acts added by the Movie DLC.
※ You cannot play through the main story Acts, Challenge Acts, or White Space using Movie Shadow.- Stage Rankings
The stages added in the Movie DLC are not compatible with the online mode rankings.
