Knuckles!
Knuckles is a bold and powerful echidna who guards the giant gemstone known as the Master Emerald on the floating island “Angel Island”!
His powerful fists, strong enough to crush rocks, are so impressive that even Sonic respects him. His straightforward and serious nature earns him the trust of his friends!
Though his simplicity makes him a bit gullible at times, this earnestness is also one of his many charms.

A fragile and mysterious girl, her true identity is… an ultra-high-performance AI created by Dr. Eggman!
Her loyalty to her master, Eggman, is extremely high, and she possesses rational thinking. At times, she even suggests strategies that make even Eggman hesitate…!
In the prologue “Prologue: Divergence,” which serves as a prequel to Sonic Frontiers, Sage confronts Knuckles and ends up imprisoning him. Witnessing his wild behavior, she might have judged that if things continued this way, Eggman would be in danger—leading her to decide that confinement was necessary.
