Remember that wild Pakistani McDonald’s Happy Meal commercial from 2004? Well, it turns out there was more to it than we thought! In a recent discovery by the Sonic community, internet sleuths have uncovered ‘new’ animation reels that were uploaded about two years before the now-infamous ad made its way to the Western side of the globe.
These reels showcase previously unseen animations for other Sonic the Hedgehog Happy Meal games that were promoting the release of Sonic Heroes at the time, including Big’s Fishing, Cream Flower Catch, Sonic the Hedgehog Extreme Boarding, and Knuckles Treasure Hunt!

These animations were created by Image Dynamics, a Pakistan-based animation studio that’s still active today and has since greatly improved the quality of their work!
