The official Sonic the Hedgehog social media accounts have released a new video entitled “Shadow 101: A Brief History of Shadow the Hedgehog” which explores the creation and unique abilities of Shadow the Hedgehog narrated by Dr. Eggman himself!
Shadow, with his Air Shoes, can skate at incredible speed, keeping pace with Sonic, and is strong with the ability to use a Chaos Spear and Chaos Blast. His Limiter Rings keep his power in check, but when removed, he becomes virtually unstoppable. Shadow was created using the DNA of an alien warlord named Black Doom on the Space Colony “ARK.” Despite Gerald Robotnik’s intentions to cure his granddaughter’s illness and Black Doom’s desire for a champion, Shadow only wanted to live in peace. G.U.N attempted to erase all evidence of Shadow’s existence, but Eggman discovered Gerald’s journal, leading him to Shadow’s hiding place and unleashing him upon the world. Instead of joining the Eggman Empire, Shadow fights against it, becoming a dangerous and unstoppable threat.
