SEGA Reveals Sonic Dream Team Opening Animation

Today, Sonic Team revealed the opening animation for Sonic Dream Team – the upcoming 3D Sonic the Hedgehog action-platformer coming exclusively to Apple Arcade.

The opening stars Sonic and Friends as they take on Dr. Eggman in an epic battle. The animation was directed by Tyson Hesse, animated by Powerhouse Animation, and composed by Tee Lopes. To see a glimpse of the story, action, and characters players can expect when the title launches December 5, 2023, check out the video below: 

There’s no pinching yourself awake here! Dr. Eggman has trapped Sonic and friends in a bizarre dream, and it’s going to take the entire crew to stop this dream from becoming a living nightmare.

In Sonic Dream Team, Dr. Eggman is up to his usual tricks in his quest for world domination and discovers an ancient device – The Reverie – that can make dreams a reality. Join Sonic and friends as they dive deep into the bizarre world of Eggman’s dreams and attempt to stop them from coming true!
