Appearing in a very rare look with glasses!
Tails is usually seen as the cute little brother of the group, but this time he’s wearing glasses, giving him a slightly more grown-up feel.
The calm brown frames that blend in with his fur color make you wonder if he picked them out himself. They’re an intellectual square shape, but the softly rounded corners give off a gentle impression, making them very “him.”♪
But knowing how much Tails loves tinkering with machines, maybe he’s not wearing them for vision correction or fashion at all. They could be smart glasses he’s developing, for example. Displaying Chaos Emerald readings on the lenses, or recording first-person footage for TailsTube… he might be right in the middle of thinking up features like that!
With his ears drooping unusually low and his mouth set in a small, thoughtful line, he looks so absorbed in his new invention that he doesn’t even seem to notice his glasses slipping down a bit.
A genius mechanic’s worries?
“Let’s see… the things Sonic broke during the last adventure were that, that, and… that too…”
W-wait, this isn’t a scene of him worrying about his partner’s free-spirited ways, is it…!?
Even if it were, kind-hearted Tails would probably wrap it up positively, saying something like, “That just proves how hard Sonic worked.”
To support him, I think I’ll bring him his favorite mint candy as a little pick-me-up.♪

What really caught my eye was the contrast between his fluffy softness and the crisp, structured look of the glasses! That balance of innocence and coolness made me feel like I’d discovered a whole new side of Tails.
I was so moved that I secretly tried wearing glasses myself too… did they suit me?
