SEGA has released the SpongeBob SquarePants Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, bringing Bikini Bottom straight onto the racetrack. Players can now hop into the Patty Wagon and race as SpongeBob SquarePants or Patrick Star, complete with new emotes, fresh music tracks, and a tropical undersea course inspired by the beloved series.
The pack introduces SpongeBob and Patrick as playable racers along with the Patty Wagon vehicle, which has been faithfully recreated for CrossWorlds. The update also adds a fully themed Bikini Bottom course and a set of original collaboration music tracks. Each character arrives with six emotes that bring the energetic SpongeBob spirit into every match.
Players who own the Digital Deluxe Edition automatically receive the SpongeBob SquarePants Pack through the Season Pass. For everyone else, the complete Season Pass is available for 29.99 USD and grants access to future character drops, vehicles, and courses. The SpongeBob SquarePants Pack can also be purchased on its own for 5.99 USD. Even players who do not own the DLC will still be able to race on the Bikini Bottom course and join matches with those who do.
To celebrate the DLC launch, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is hosting a special event titled the SpongeBob Festival. This in game Festival challenges players to join one of three teams and compete in rule shifting online races. The event also provides increased point opportunities and lets players earn exclusive rewards by gathering Festival Points throughout the event period.
SEGA has released a trailer showcasing the full SpongeBob SquarePants Pack, giving players a first look at the Patty Wagon in motion and the vibrant Bikini Bottom course brought to life through the speed and style of CrossWorlds.
The update arrives alongside additional promotions, including a Black Friday discount on the Digital Deluxe Edition and a limited time Sonic Adventure Sticker giveaway for all players who log in and play during the campaign window.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds continues to expand globally with new content updates, crossover events, and more Season Pass drops planned for the coming months.
