SEGA has revealed the first official tournament for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, and it is happening in a big way through Twitch Rivals. In partnership with Twitch, invited creators from North America and Europe will put their racing skills to the test in a competitive showdown that combines high-speed thrills with a serious cash prize.

The event will kick off with regional qualifiers before culminating in a global final:

Tournament Schedule

  • NA Qualifiers: September 26, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM PT
  • EU Qualifiers: September 27, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM PT
  • Finals: October 3, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM PT

Tournament Structure
Each region will feature two lobbies, one competitive and one casual, with 12 racers per lobby. The top six from each will advance to the finals, creating a balanced field of 24 finalists from across both continents:

  • 6 NA Competitive
  • 6 EU Competitive
  • 6 NA Casual
  • 6 EU Casual

Prizing
Winners of each bracket will share a $10,000 prize pool, making this one of the most exciting opportunities yet for CrossWorlds players to showcase their racing prowess.

To build hype, SEGA has also released a special announcement trailer for the tournament, highlighting the fast-paced action and intensity fans can expect when the event goes live.

With Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds already shaping up to be SEGA’s boldest racing title yet, the Twitch Rivals tournament marks another major milestone in building the game’s competitive scene.
