Following the successful Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds open network test, SEGA has released official statistics showcasing how players spent their time on the track. The beta drew strong participation worldwide, with fans eager to try out the game’s characters, courses, and CrossWorld mechanics ahead of launch.
According to SEGA’s data, Apotos emerged as the most selected track, while Dragon Road claimed the top spot as the most popular CrossWorld. When it came to vehicles, players overwhelmingly favored the Dark Reaper, making it the most used kart. And unsurprisingly, Shadow the Hedgehog dominated as the most chosen character, reflecting his enduring popularity among the fanbase.
These results highlight the mix of speed, nostalgia, and style that players gravitated toward during the test. With launch day fast approaching, fans will soon be able to put their own stats to the test and see how their favorites stack up in the full game.
Sonic Racing CrossWorlds launches later this month on all major platforms, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version also planned.
