SEGA has revealed new details about the upcoming single player demo for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, giving fans another chance to experience the high-speed action before the game’s full release on September 25, 2025.
The demo will be available worldwide on Wednesday, September 17, and can be downloaded for free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users will not have access.
Release times are as follows:
- United States (PST): Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 9:00 PM
- United States (EST): Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 12:00 AM
- United Kingdom (UTC): Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 4:00 AM
- Japan (JST): Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 1:00 PM
The demo focuses on offline single player racing with Sonic and friends, letting players try out the game’s gadgets, tracks, and mechanics ahead of launch.
