SEGA has unveiled the third track in the Sonic x Hatsune Miku collaboration project “Project ONSOKU” with the release of “Jet Black,” an original song written and composed by acclaimed producer Yunosuke. The track debuted today, September 8, and is accompanied by a newly illustrated jacket design by artist FAMY.

Yunosuke, known internationally for Vocaloid hits like PaⅢ.SENSATION, shared his excitement about contributing to the project:
“I first encountered Sonic when I was in elementary school, playing it with friends. Shadow was my favorite character back then, and in recent years I’ve been heavily influenced by Sonic Mania’s music. To now be able to color the Sonic series with my own music is truly an honor. I hope everyone enjoys my song ‘Jet Black.’”
Project ONSOKU features five different artists each creating original songs and music videos that will also be included as in-game race BGM in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which launches worldwide on September 25, 2025 for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The weekly release schedule continues as follows:
