SEGA has announced a series of themed updates across their popular mobile titles to celebrate the highly anticipated release of “Sonic the Hedgehog 3”, hitting theaters later this month. The updates will roll out for Sonic Dream Team, exclusively on Apple Arcade, as well as Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces, available on the App Store and Google Play. Check out the full details below:
Sonic Dash – Update available December 20, 2024
- Win your favorite stars from the Sonic Movie! Collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic.
- Pick up daily collectibles to earn extra rewards!
- Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will receive Shadow-themed updates starting January 2025.
Sonic Forces – Update available December 12, 2024
- New Adventure. New Rival. Play as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other favorite characters in the Sonic Movie Mobile events.
- Race through the all-new Metro-city Zone, featuring three brand-new tracks designed to challenge your skills!
Sonic Dream Team – Update available December 18, 2024
Playable Shadow and New Challenges!
- Take control of Shadow in Tails’ Challenges! Experience special Challenge levels, earn rewards, and unlock Shadow for Adventure mode.
- Use Shadow’s unique abilities, Chaos Control and Chaos Shift, to manipulate time and freeze enemies and the environment as you race through levels.
New Powers!
- Unlock a new set of Powers for all characters, including Quick Grind, Perfect Jump, Chain Attack, and Perfect Boost.
- Shadow gains access to exclusive abilities like Double Chaos Shift and Extended Chaos Control for even more strategic gameplay.
New Music and Statues!
- Six new Shadow-themed statues have been added alongside additional fan-favorite music tracks to expand your collection in Tails’ Challenges.
Reworked Tutorial
- A fully revamped tutorial level helps new players get acquainted with the game. There’s never been a better time to try Sonic Dream Team!
Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces are available on the App Store and Google Play. Sonic Dream Team is available exclusively on Apple Arcade, playable across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro.
