Back in the day, there was a huge Sonic the Hedgehog 3 promotional deal between SEGA and fast food chain, McDonalds where they released a set of Sonic 3 themed toys with their Happy Meals.
The toys included Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Eggman who all had their own wind-up features.
Today, an Instagram user by the name of consumertc who is a self-proclaimed “Vintage McDonald’s Super-Collector” recently showed off one of his hauls, being a concept for a “Collapse & Roll Sonic” Happy Meal toy which would fold and be able to roll much like Sonic doing a spin attack in the games. The concept never went into manufacturing for unknown reasons but we must admit it would’ve made for one awesome little toy!
