Professor Tori (プロフェッサートリィ Purofessā Toryi?) is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She was first introduced in the first episode of TailsTube, and has only appeared as a cameo in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (movie). She is characterized by pink hair and a yellow hairpin.
Appearance
Professor Tori is a human character with pink hair, and blueish-green eyes. She uses a yellow hair pin and pink eye shadow. She wears a brown vest with yellow linings, with white stripes that run down from the shoulders to the sleeves as well as on opposite sides of the bottom side of the vest. On both of the shoulders on the vest, there also a yellow, horizontal stripe. Her sleeves are partially half-way rolled up into cuffs that are tightened by a yellow button. She also wears gloves with bracelets the same color as her vest and linings. She also wears an inner long shirt that's a darker shade of brown and has a white line that runs down the middle of the short and along the lining of its bottom half. Her pants are the same color as her vest and gloves.
History
Her first appearance was in TailsTube #1 (feat. Sonic). She appeared during the explanation of humans within the world and were confirmed to be a new character with a distinct art style different from the humans appearing in Sonic Unleashed.
In Shadow Generations, by reading Gerald Robotnik's Journal included in the game, the first page contains a letter sent by someone collecting evidence of the ARK's purge operation to Commander Abraham Tower. In the Japanese version, the sender of this letter is also named Tori[1]. However, since she does not appear directly in the story and the name's notation differs from Professor Tori described in this document, there is no way to confirm if they are the same person.
Also, in Shadow Generations, it is revealed that Maria Robotnik has a younger sister, leading fans to speculate whether this character might be that younger sister.
