Apple Arcade is a video game subscription service by Apple for IOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and macOS devices.[1] It was first announced during an Apple Event showcasing their various upcoming services on March 25, 2019, and was later launched on September 19, 2019.[2][3] It is also available as part of Apple One.[4] Sega has partnered up with Apple to make ports and original titles for the service, including ones for the Sonic the Hedgehog series.[5]

- It has been stated that just because a game releases as an Apple Arcade exclusive, that doesn’t mean it can’t be ported to consoles and PC in the future.[6]
