Professor Tori (プロフェッサートリィ, Purofessā Toryi^?) is a character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She first appeared in the debut episode of TailsTube and has since made a cameo in the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (movie). Professor Tori is easily recognizable by her pink hair and distinctive yellow hairpin.

Appearance

Professor Tori is a human character known for her striking pink hair and bluish-green eyes. She accessorizes with a yellow hairpin and wears pink eye shadow. Her outfit features a brown vest with yellow linings, accented by white stripes running from the shoulders to the sleeves and along the bottom of the vest. The vest's shoulders include yellow horizontal stripes for additional detail.

History

Her first appearance was in TailsTube #1 (feat. Sonic), during an explanation about humans within the world. She was confirmed to be a new character, sporting a distinct art style that differs from the humans seen in Sonic Unleashed.

In Shadow Generations, the first page of Gerald Robotnik's Journal contains a letter addressed to Commander Abraham Tower from someone gathering evidence about the ARK's purge operation. In the Japanese version of the game, the sender of this letter is also named Tori^[1]. However, as this individual does not appear directly in the story and their name's notation differs from Professor Tori's, there is no way to confirm if they are the same person.

Additionally, Shadow Generations reveals that Maria Robotnik has a younger sister, leading to fan speculation that this character could potentially be that sibling.
