Bark the Polar Bear (バーク・ザ・ポーラーベアー Bāku za Pōrā Beā) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is an anthropomorphic polar bear who competed in a fighting tournament for the Chaos Emeralds and the right to destroy the Death Egg II. He is a very strong foe who specializes in punching and throwing. Bark has a quiet and gentle nature, but he ends up hanging around the wrong crowd at times. He is said to be the best snowboarder on North Island.
