'''IDW Publishing''' is an American [[Comic|comic book]] company founded in 1999. IDW, short for "Idea and Design Works," is most known for licensed comic book adaptations of films, television shows, cartoons, and video games. Since 2018, the company publishes the current ''[[Sonic the Hedgehog (IDW comic series)|Sonic the Hedgehog]]'' comic book series, which in turn is based on the [[Sonic the Hedgehog series|video game franchise of the same name]].
