==Unlockable music==
Unlike the console/[[PC]] [[Sonic Generations|version]], which allows unlocked tracks to be played in regular stages, unlockable music can only be heard in the extras menu in the 3DS version.  Additionally, the 3DS will continue to play the tracks in sleep mode if headphones are connected. The majority of vocal song tracks included are abridged compared to their full-length original versions.
