Jet first met [[Surge the Tenrec]] while competing in [[Clean Sweepstakes]], Jet became frustrated during the second race when the [[Phantom Rider (IDW)|Phantom Rider]] showed up and Surge stopped him but, in the end, Jet won the race with the audience cheering for her and not him causing him to dislike her. During the next race in [[Misty Spire]] Jet would grow frustrated at her when she started showboating even telling her to shut up showing the two have no respect for each other.
