====Synopsis====
[[Doctor Ivo Robotnik (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Dr. Robotnik]] and [[Dimitri]] of the [[Dark Legion]] have allied together and mind swapped [[Sonic the Hedgehog (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Sonic]] into [[Knuckles the Echidna (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Knuckles]] and Knuckles into Sonic. [[Sally Acorn (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Sally]] and [[Nate Morgan (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Nate Morgan]] with the [[Freedom Fighters (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Freedom Fighters]] are traveling from Mobotropolis to the [[Angel Island (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Floating Island]] with Sonic as Knuckles on board. [[Nicole (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Nicole]], Sally, and Nate still do not believe that Sonic is trapped in Knuckles' body, so they travel to the Floating Island, but are attacked by missiles and come crashing down to [[Echidnaopolis]].

Meanwhile In Echidnaopolis, the Dark Legion are attacking Knuckles and [[Julie-Su]]. Knuckles unable to glide in Sonic's body uses his speed and finds the crashed [[Freedom Fighter Special]]. Sonic, Knuckles, Julie-Su and the Freedom Fighters take down the robots and some members of the Dark Legion, but they are stopped by holographic projections of Dr. Robotnik and Dimitri. Dr. Robotnik commands that either Sonic and Knuckles surrender themselves to them, or they will forever be stuck in each other's bodies. Dr. Robotnik and Dimitri teleport them to their base and show them the '[[Chaos-Cannon]]', which requires the [[Master Emerald (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Master Emerald]] as a power source, and upon activation and will blast the [[Great Forest]], turning it entirely into metal. Sonic and Knuckles head to the [[Shrine Isle (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Chaos Chamber]] making it look like they're about to steal it, but destroy the spying device and bring Dr. Robotnik and Dimtri a fake version of the Master Emerald. The cannon is destroyed by the sabotage and Sonic and Knuckles are restored to their own bodies from touching the Master Emerald. While Sonic fights Robotnik, Knuckles battles Dimitri, who unfortunately manages to teleport away. Dr. Robotnik self-destructs, revealing him to merely be a robot duplicate of the original Robotnik. Knuckles states that next time he'll get to defeat the villains, to which Sonic replies that in that case, he'd better start wishing he were a hedgehog again. This leads them into an intense argument about which are cooler; Hedgehogs or Echidnas.

====Synopsis====
While Sonic is calmly fishing, [[Sallactor]] appears hoping for Sonic's help. Sonic, thinking that the version of Sally is good, is soon warned by [[Zonic the Zone Cop]] of her vile nature. Zonic summons Sallactor's mortal enemies to take care of her; [[Sonicaman: Chaos Ninja Team]]. When the battle is over and they are returned to their zones, Sonic wants to know how Zonic keeps track of everything. However, Zonic gets a warning from another zone about a very dangerous threat and asks Sonic for his help, to which he reluctantly agrees. Sonic is teleported there and is agast to see [[Overlander]]s fleeing from [[Rabbot-Zilla]]. Zonic reports to Sonic that good and evil is changed through zones, before disappearing. Sonic manages to trap Rabbot-Zilla in tar, saving the city. [[Dr. J. Kintobor]] the Robotnik counterpart of the zone appears, and tells Sonic that he is the ruler of the city, named [[Kintopolis]], and that in an attempt to harness [[Chaos energy (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Chaotomic Energy]], he split a [[Chaos Emerald (Pre-Super Genesis Wave)|Chaos Emerald]] in half, and tested the energy on the distant [[Knothole Island]]. However, this the mutated the local wildlife, turning them into hideious monsters, with the split halves of the Emerald still remaining in the monster's lair. To retrieve the Emerald halves, Dr. J. Kintobor builds Sonic a massive mech known as [[Giant Robotno]] which is powered by Sonic's speed. Sonic flies the mech to Knothole Island, but is confronted by mutated versions of [[Sally-Zilla|Sally]], [[Tails-Zilla|Tails]], [[Knuckles-Zilla|Knuckles]], [[Amy-Zilla|Amy]] and [[Rotor-Zilla|Rotor]]. Sonic can't take fighting his friends but is forced to as they assault the mech. Suddenly, a giant mutated Hedgehog appears with a loud roar. While Sonic initially believes it to be his mutant counterpart, it is soon revealed to be a monster version [[Jules-Zilla|Jules]], who has half of the Chaos Emerald stuck on his chest. Sonic can't bear to fight his dad, but accidentally kills him by pulling the Chaos Emerald half out of his chest with using Giant Robotno. Anguished, Sonic flies the mech back to Kintopolis, with the [[Sonic-Zilla|mutated Sonic]] of the zone (Who has the second half of the emerald attached to his chest) arriving afterwards to find his dad dead.

Back in Kintopolis, celebrations are underway, with Kintobor explaining to Sonic that thanks to his help, the city's first [[Kintopolis Sonic Robot|robotic protector]] has been successfully created. Wishing to name it after Sonic, he asks for his name. However, before Sonic can answer, he is teleported back to [[Mobius (Archie)|Mobius]] by Zonic, who takes off his helmet to reveal that he is Sonic's counterpart from the [[No Zone]].
