As for your question, the concept of fusions in Sonic was something I thought was really cool when I was younger! Back when Nazo Unleashed was released on Newgrounds, I always thought Shadic was awesome!
Looking back now, though, I feel like fusions would make the franchise’s Dragon Ball-inspired roots a little too obvious. I’d rather they stay away from that, to be honest. That said, fusions are always an interesting concept. So, in a hypothetical scenario, what other fusions would be cool to see besides Shadic, and what would they be called?
The series would probably need some sort of galaxy-ending threat to justify a fusion—something so extreme that going Super, Hyper, or using a new form wouldn’t be enough to fix! What would the plot for that look like?
