This month’s star is… the reliable leader of the Chaotix Detective Agency!

It’s the tough and sharp-witted master detective himself: Vector!

That confident look peeking out from his casual pose, combined with the twist of his coiled tail—absolutely perfect!
The light, agile stance feels so uniquely Vector, despite his large build. ♪

From an artist’s perspective, Vector is tricky to draw—his thick neck makes it tough to balance his head and body proportions.
And then there’s that golden chain! Trying to capture its three-dimensional feel is a real challenge!

But his neck, chain, and even his headphones are essential elements that define him. They instantly convey his strong physique and fun personality. Every time I look at him, I think—wow, character design really is powerful!

With his powerful energy and sharp instincts, he manages to overcome almost anything.
He proudly calls himself a “cool guy!”
…and honestly, with his big heart and kind nature, he truly is a great guy. ♪

Maybe this illustration shows Vector striking a triumphant pose, having just cracked another case at the detective agency—feeling totally pumped from a job well done.

Helping people and getting paid for it?
It might seem surprising given his wild appearance, but detective work really does seem like Vector’s true calling. ♪

That said, his strong sense of loyalty and justice sometimes leads him to take on jobs that don’t pay nearly enough—so the Chaotix Detective Agency is chronically broke…
But honestly, if it means getting to witness Vector’s upbeat spirit and big heart up close, I’d gladly join the team!

First thing I’d tackle as their designer? Creating Vector’s business card!
His title? “Cool Guy.”
The material? Chewing gum—his favorite! And yes, it’s edible!

A man whose charm grows with every card he hands out—that’s Vector. ♪

…But hey, you don’t need to chew the card to experience his awesomeness.
