The third and final season of Sonic Prime was released on January 11, 2024, and with it came the unfortunate announcement by the show’s creator and writer, Duncan Rouleau, who spoke to Cartoon Base, stating that there are currently no plans for more episodes of the animated series slated for release at this time.
While this may be sad news for fans of the show, only time will tell if Sonic Prime gets another batch of episodes in the future. Due to the show’s apparent success on Netflix, making it to the top 10 in multiple countries in both kids and non-kids shows on the platform, we wouldn’t be exactly shocked if Netflix suddenly announced more Sonic goodness for us to enjoy.
