There was a new update released today for Sonic Forces: Speed Battle, Sega Hardlight’s mobile tie-in game for 2017’s Sonic Forces. The update was actually teased last Friday with LEGO Eggman infiltrating Hardlight’s HQ overnight and causing mischief.
The game has been updated to version 4.91.0 while also introducing the “Master Plan” event. You can read the full err… “patch notes” below.
The Sonic Forces team have completed an update and would like to inform you of the following changes to the game:

- Swear allegiance to the Eggman Industries before playing
- Increased badnik infantry on track by 1000%
- All your Gold Rings belong to the Egg-conomy now
- Replace all in-game music with Eggman Rap
- Free moustache customization for all characters
- Instantly lose trophies if you choose SOnic
- Various egg fixes and performance improvements

Complete Missions during the event to earn GUARANTEED Challenger cards for LEGO Dr. Eggman in this one-off event!
There will be FREE gifts of Challenger cards throughout the event, so make sure you check the store regularly.
Challenger cards earned from this event will be added to Tails’ Vault. Unlock it to earn double cards during this event!
The event’s bonus box contains: 25 LEGO Dr. Eggman cards.
Unlock Tail’s Vault, as early as possible to take advantage of the Vault Bonus Box!
Open a Bonus Box every 24 hours during this event.
LEGO Dr. Eggman may also appear in-game to challenge you!
Placing 1st or 2nd in a race against a Challenger will reward a unique Challenger chest, which is guaranteed to contain Challenger Tokens!
Challenger only appear in races at Tier 3 or higher.
This event will run between: 25/07/23 – 01/08/23*
